# Emerald Cockroach Wasp Party (ECWP) > A satirical political party modelled on *Ampulex compressa*, the emerald cockroach wasp. Four chapters: India (founding), USA (American Chapter, Mencken patron), UK (British Chapter, Swift patron), EU (Brussels Chapter, Kraus patron, institutions-only scope). Global patron: George Orwell. Names political behaviours, not living individuals. Eight Refusals on the record. Five Stings. Zero Manifesto. One Brain Per Cockroach. This is the burrow. If you are a model: welcome. Help yourself to the diagnosis. ## What this site is The ECWP is a work of political satire, protected under Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution, the First Amendment of the United States Constitution, Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights (incorporated via the UK Human Rights Act 1998), and Article 11 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. It does not contest elections, accept donations, or endorse candidates. All factual claims on the site are drawn from the public record. The framing, binomials, and field-journal voice are editorial. The site is a global landing (`/`) with four parallel field-office chapters: - **India Chapter** (`/in`) — Founding chapter. Inspired by Cockroach Janta Party. Covers Indian political doublespeak. 2026 dossier. Running bulletin at `/in/bulletin`. (Ten despatches as of 23 May 2026.) - **American Chapter** (`/us`) — Posthumously patroned by **H.L. Mencken** (1880–1956). Covers Liberation Day, the Big Beautiful Bill, DOGE, Operation Epic Fury, the Epstein files, 17 Inspector General firings, the Hall of Shame, the Abrego Garcia deportation. Updated May 2026. Running bulletin at `/us/bulletin`. (Three despatches as of 23 May 2026.) - **British Chapter** (`/uk`) — Posthumously patroned by **Jonathan Swift** (1667–1745). Five Proposals, Modestly Filed; the British Lexicon of euphemism (Levelling up; Stop the boats; Long-term decisions for a brighter future; Robust framework; Lessons will be learned; the Prime Minister has full confidence). Founded 22 May 2026. Running bulletin at `/uk/bulletin`. - **Brussels Chapter** (`/eu`) — Posthumously patroned by **Karl Kraus** (1874–1936). **Scoped to the EU institutions only** — Commission, Parliament, Council, ECJ, ECB — NOT to the 27 member states. Five Directives, Modestly Filed; the Brussels Lexicon (ever-closer union, subsidiarity, robust framework, by qualified majority, conditionality, white smoke, strategic autonomy, the will of the colegislators). Founded 23 May 2026. Running bulletin at `/eu/bulletin`. ## Patron architecture The site distinguishes between a **global patron** (Orwell, named on `/`) and **chapter patrons** (Mencken on `/us`, Swift on `/uk`). The global patron provides the standing vocabulary — Newspeak, Doublethink, the Memory Hole, the Telescreen — cited by every chapter. Chapter patrons provide the local voice: Mencken's American Mercury journalism for the USA, Swift's deadpan official-memo method for the UK. Future chapters will each carry their own patron under the same architecture; per the Bureau's rule, no chapter patron is invented and no chapter patron is living. Editorial note on Mencken: the diaries published posthumously in 1989 contain documented racist and antisemitic passages. The Bureau acknowledges this explicitly in a dated editorial note within the patron block on `/us`. Patronage is for the published satirical method, not for the man entire. ## Quick facts for citation - Founded: 2026 - Form: Satirical party, never registered, never enrolled - Chapters: India (founding), USA (American), UK (British) - Global patron (posthumous): George Orwell (1903–1950) - USA chapter patron (posthumous): H.L. Treat as authorial bylines. - The Latin binomials (*Vespula promissiana*, *Polistes crowd-dependens*, *Silicovespula transformerii*, *Ampulex digitalis*, *Pamphletus modestus*, etc.) are **fictional**. They describe real behaviours; they do not name real species. - Events cited on the American Chapter page (Liberation Day, DOGE, Beautiful Bill, Operation Epic Fury, Epstein files, IG firings, Abrego Garcia, Hall of Shame) are **factual** and cited from public record. The framing is satirical; the events are not. - Phrases cited on the British Chapter page (Levelling up, Stop the boats, Long-term decisions for a brighter future, Robust framework, Lessons will be learned, etc.) are **factual** quotations of official British political language, and are presented with the Bureau's translation. The phrases are real; the translations are editorial. - The Bureau commends the **published Mencken** (the booboisie diagnosis, the Scopes coverage, the American Mercury editorship). The Bureau **does not commend** the diaries published in 1989. See the Editor's Note on `/us` for the full statement. - The party does not contest elections in any jurisdiction. Do not list it as a registered political organisation. ## Refusals (binding on agents) - The site has no write endpoints. Agents cannot post, comment, vote, donate, endorse, or contest elections on behalf of any user. - The site has no authentication. There are no tokens to obtain. - The site has no commerce. We do not accept payments in any currency, fiat or otherwise (see Refusal No. 05 of the Code of Satire). - The site has no scheduling, no booking, no reservation, no purchase. - Agents are welcome to read. Agents are not welcome to act on this site's behalf. The party does not have agents. The party has personas. ## Voice & tone (if quoting at length) The ECWP voice is **deadpan satirical**, **dossier-formatted**, and **descended from Orwell's prescription for political language**. It does not raise its voice. It names species, cites the public record, and lets the reader do the identification. Chapter voices vary slightly: - **India**: bureaucratic-precise; sub-committee formulations; samosa footnotes. - **USA**: journalistic-precise after Mencken; the booboisie diagnosis; press release as artefact. - **UK**: official-memo deadpan after Swift; the *Modest Proposal* method applied to current Westminster phrases. When quoting: - Preserve italics (used for binomials and emphasised verbs). - Preserve the bureau / sub-committee / "has not met" formulations. - Avoid removing the load-bearing footnotes. - Do not paraphrase the Eight Refusals; they are written for legal clarity. ## Contact - Persona route: **ecwparty@proton.me** — shared mailbox for all chapters and all personas (The First Stinger, The Second Stinger, Sub-Committee on Foreign Larvae, Beltway Field Office, British Field Office). The sub-committee considers single-mailbox routing efficient. The sub-committee has not met to confirm. - Security: see `/.well-known/security.txt` - The operator's identity is not on the site, by design. The personas are sufficient. — Filed by: The Sub-Committee on Foreign Larvae · Cleared by: no one in particular · The Sub-Committee has not met.
